sew satisfied

mission accomplished!

the second (bigger) project was...curtains for the kids' room!

it was actually easier and less time-intensive than 

i had originally anticipated.

the hardest part was picking a gender neutral fabric that

 everyone would be happy with.

after an extensive search, this is what we found.

wild, crazy, colorful...perfect!

it's called "quilt of dreams"...what better fabric for a bedroom?!?

so began the pressing.

and the sewing.

and a couple of hours later.

ta-da!

i am loving bringing more color to our home.

it feels like we are finally making it our own.

next on the agenda...?
